Overview We are looking for a data and backend-oriented Senior Software Engineer to help us advance our clinical AI by designing and building core systems that handle, process, and analyze clinical data at scale. This role is fully remote within the US What You’ll Do Design, build and launch new data products, capabilities and data pipelines Develop and maintain streaming and ingestion capabilities using technologies like Kafka, NATS, and SQS to ensure reliable data movement Partner with other engineering and data teams to provide foundational backend and data infrastructure that accelerates their ability to deliver features and insights Build scalable and secure access to clinical data at scale Optimize and evolve our platform capabilities (e.g., event bus, ingestion frameworks, data storage patterns) to support future product growth Contribute to engineering standards, system design reviews, and best practices around eventing, pipelines, and cloud-native systems What You Bring 5+ years of development experience with a focus on cloud-based solutions Expertise in Python Experience working with data platform solutions such as Snowflake, Data Bricks, Redshift, or Click House Experience working with Postgres or a similar relational database Hands-on experience with eventing solutions such as Kafka, NATS, or SQS Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and working with event-driven architectures Experience with data-pipelines Experience working with product managers to plan, build, and iterate on deliverables Experience working in a security-conscious environment Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience Nice To Haves Experience with data ingestion and integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte, Debezium) Experience working with Kubernetes Experience managing data capabilities for engineering teams (e.g., eventbus, ingestion) Experience at a scale-up, or rapid growth, technology company Experience in the health tech domain, particularly in hospital billing systems Our Stack & Compensation Compensation $190 K to $230 K base salary + equity incentives Medical, Dental & Vision – Comprehensive plans with leading insurance providers, covering 90-100% of your premiums and 70-90% for dependents, depending on the plan.
