Production Operators *You must be a NZ resident. Overseas applicants will not be considered for this role* We are seeking experienced Production Operators with the ability to work across different facets of our Hillsborough clients plasterboard manufacturing process. Daily resposibilities will be varied so if you are multi-skilled, intuitive, motivated and safety focused, please read on. What is on offer: Competitive pay rate paid weeklyFull-time hours with the potential of going permanentFirst class onboarding and trainingAn opportunity to grow and excel within the companyAlternating shift patternAbout the role: As a machine operator you will be working as part of a team, operating machinery to ensure continuous production. This includes identifying faults and quality assurance. You may be using a forklift and gantry crane (experience is a bonus but don't worry, full training will be provided). Plant operation within manufacturing crews. Process control, following all operating procedures correctlyOperating machines and replenishing linesGeneral manufacturing dutiesRoutine checks of plant operationsComputer-controlled equipmentAbout you: Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Forklift licence and OSH Certificate along with current NZ driver's licence a bonusHigh degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem solvingPhysically fit and the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and productGood written and verbal communication skills and numerical calculationsSelf-motivated and able to work within a teamAble to prioritise and meet deadlinesSafe work practices and Health and Safety awarenessAfter your initial training period you MUST be willing to work on a rotating roster: 4 days on 4 days off - 2 day shifts (7am to 7pm), then 2 night shifts (7pm to 7am) *Please note that our commitment to our crews safety on the job means that everyone undergoes a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a criminal history check* APPLY NOW Or call Debby on ******** to chat more about the role.
