After all your hard work, it’s now time to move on to that next step of your first post-graduate role, and we would like to take the opportunity for you to join us here at Dunedin Hospital’s Radiology department.
We pride ourselves on being a hardworking, but fun team that values quality and putting the patient first. This is a great place for you to come and spread your wings as a tertiary hospital we have the following on offer:
- Fully equipped Radiology department with DR, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, DSA, NM, MRI and ultrasound services.
- We work alongside colleagues in Emergency, Theatre, ICU, Outpatients and NICU.
- Dynamic and varied work environment, servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population.
- You will certainly be kept on your toes, with our service operating on a 24/7 basis with on-call rostering.

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Approachable, and professional with a team-player mentality.
- A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike.
- Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills.
- Working towards completion of tertiary study in 2024 and be able to apply for an Annual Practicing Certificate and registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
- Highly adaptable, motivated, and work efficiently. You must have the ability to cover both the on-call and shift roster.

Utu whānui | Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX/Te Whatu Ora Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement, Step 1 ($70,842 p.a pro rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
In the interests of protecting our people and our patients, all appointments will be subject to:
- Occupational Health Assessment
- Police Vetting
- Serious misconduct checks (previous Public Service departments and statutory Crown entities only)
