Position: Air-Conditioning Mechanic
Location: Auckland
Salary: $29.66-$35/hour
Hours: minimum 30 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Arrange installation requirements according to floor plans, specifications and actual situation on site
Install air conditioning system including mounting all in-door and out-door units, putting all copper pipes and cables in place to connect all units, perform necessary reinforcement and sealing
Check all functions are in good working order after installation and make adjustments if needed
  Perform emergency repairs and regular preventive maintenance to ensure malfunctions/defective components are identified, diagnosed and fixed
  Make routine adjustments of the control system to maximize operational efficiency
Record data when inspecting systems, such as the temperature of equipment, and hours of operation
  Advise clients on different air-conditioning systems when required
  Receive, verify and load all equipment, tools and materials needed for each job

Carrying out quality checks to make sure systems are working properly and safely


Job Requirement

  At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same field or have a relevant level 4 or equivalent qualifications/certificates. when being considered
Have an eye on details
  Excellent time management
  Health & Safety conscious
  Self-motivated
Excellent int erpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
