The Role
ClearPoint’s Microsoft Engineering capabilities are growing, and we’re collaborating with clients on exciting new opportunities. We’re seeking Senior Software Engineers with expertise in .NET (C#), React.js (TypeScript) full-stack development, AWS, SQL, and Microservices Architecture. Proficiency in DevOps practices like CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is highly desirable.
You'll join cross-functional teams to deliver commercial software projects. Immediate availability is ideal, and we’re offering contract roles based in Auckland.
The experience we’re looking for:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in C# and .NET framework development, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, etc.
- Solid experience with Front-end development (SPA) using React.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of database design and development, including SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on Containerisation experience using Kubernetes and Docker is beneficial.
- Skilled in designing and constructing microservices.
- Familiarity with various AWS Services including EC2, SQS, Lambda, S3, Serverless, SNS, etc.
- Proficiency in implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Strong communication skills, and a background in consulting environments would be advantageous.

What you’ll be working with (tech, tools and more)
We have a BYOD policy at ClearPoint to allow you to utilise whatever tech takes your fancy. For our permanent staff, we provide a yearly BYOD allowance and phone allowance, so you can choose the tech that best suits your needs.
All our permanent staff get an annual training and professional development budget for books, courses and conferences. You’ll also get access to resources from a range of our partners such as AWS, Microsoft, Okta, Snowflake and Salesforce, including training platforms, partner portals, online courses and real-life practice.
