Medical Imaging Technologist - CT Job Number: WAI27825
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Waikato Hospital is one of the largest tertiary hospitals in the country, and we are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly, dedicated team.
We are seeking a medical radiation technologist to join our CT department on a fixed term basis to cover 12 months parental leave. We require someone with previous CT experience to fill this role.
The radiology department has a staff of approximately 130 and provides a full range of imaging modalities including CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, vascular / interventional radiology and conventional x-ray.
You will be working across a variety of shifts, on a 24-hour roster and will involve working on call duties, including the weekends.
Key responsibilities of the role: Provide high quality diagnostic imaging in a timely manner Deliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service delivery Participate in a rotating shift roster Uphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirements Work as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships Mo tatou Ratonga | About our Service The General Radiology department at Waikato Hospital is committed to growing our service to meet growing demands. Have a full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and current practicing certificate.
