About the role:

As a Enterprise Test Lead in the Remediation & Wealth Tribe , you'll be part of our Broker squad that supports the ASB Securities systems that runs our Online Share Trading services . We triage, problem-solve, enhance and maintain the systems and the processes they support.

You will be leading the ASB Securities migration to CMC program of work. There will be around 50 to 100 integration points to be tested that will impact all platform squads.

As an Enterprise Test Lead , you will apply your Share trading expertise and testing experience to help lead the squad in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the project.

You'll be part of a program/project on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional, and performant ecosystem to our customers. We are looking for a mix of Share trading expertise or similar system experience, test management, and technical testing skills to support the following activities:

  • Creating Agile testing strategies and plans.
  • Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtaining sign-off.
  • Building and supporting test automation where applicable.
  • Building and supporting performance testing where applicable.
  • Reviewing requirements and specifications.
  • Verifying and validating functionality being developed.
  • Analyzing and reporting test results.

About you:

We are looking for an individual that will lead the testing within a large programme of work. Someone who not only understands good QA practice that includes engineered test automation & performance testing but also someone who can provide non-line management leadership to squads. A person who can own and report the overall test status and provide QA guidance to the wider ASB squads, leaders, and stakeholders.

Our technical solutions drive continuous change for the squads and customers to ensure we are delivering the best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better & safer customer experiences.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven testing leadership with large or complex projects/programs.
  • Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, end-to-end testing, automation testing, and performance testing.
  • Manage and coordinate project/program level end-to-end testing activities with multiple squads.
  • Working with key stakeholders (internal/external) for testing end to end and obtaining sign-off.
  • Create and maintain project level test strategies/test plans that include an approach for technical testing (test automation & non-functional testing) components.
  • Capture, track and escalate status, risks, and issues to management.
  • Experience on test estimating, negotiating, and prioritizing work.
  • Provide test sign-off against test coverage, execution, defects, and risks.
  • Develop strong positive stakeholder relationships over a continuous release stream.
  • Manage complex integrated test environments and test data.
  • Mentoring/guiding on standards and best practices.
  • Foster proactive and continuous improvements to a testing community.
  • Experience of testing Online Share Trading platforms i.e. Experience in E2E testing of platforms like CMC markets, Sharesies will be highly beneficial.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Financial/banking domain experience.
  • Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals/Manager level.
  • Working experience in Cloud technologies.
