This is an exciting time to join Jacobs Energy & Power group, with several existing and new long term panel contracts with leading Power Utilities across the APAC region. An enticing opportunity for an experienced Senior Transmission Lines Engineer with expertise in scoping, feasibility, design and delivery of overhead transmission lines. This rare opening will be a pivotal point of delivery in overhead transmission line design and project delivery. Our clients will view you as a respected, trusted adviser with the capability to deliver business requirements on time and on budget.
Here's what you'll need
We're looking for someone who can manage the following responsibilities with relevant experience:
- Manage and undertake technical reviews of project deliverables and participate in project and client meetings.
- Actively support the achievement of growth targets in sales and revenue through client interaction, development of clients, achieve strategy and proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
- Complete site visits and support projects through the delivery and construction phase.
- Mentor and develop fellow team members to grow the Jacobs offering in Overhead Transmission Line Engineering.
- Oversee the technical direction of engineers locally and in our global centres to enable the delivery of Overhead Transmission Line design packages.
- Utilise PLS CADD, TOWER and POLE to perform design and review work.
- Work towards AS/NZS, client SDMs, ASCEM IEEE and IEC codes and guidelines.
- Relevant Engineering Degree in either a Civil or Structural discipline.
