Our current roll of 1,600 students has grown considerably in 2024, with further predicted roll growth for 2025.
We are looking for a full-time, permanent visual arts Head of Department (HOD).
Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa.
James Cook High School has sustained improvements across a wide range of metrics, including improving learning, engagement, and achievement.
We are seeking an enthusiastic New Zealand registered teacher of visual arts to start on 28 January 2025, who demonstrates empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture.
The ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students to develop and undertake multiple pathways is essential.
Successful applicants will demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the New Zealand Curriculum and teaching pedagogies.
This position attracts 1MU.
