Hospitality Assistant | Holly Lea Village | Fendalton Holly Lea Village is a bespoke retirement village, set within park-like grounds in the heart of Fendalton. This iconic and historic precinct offers elegant residences for those in their latter years – including independent living, assisted living apartments and a dedicated care facility with 37 care suites. Holly Lea Village offers upscale and personalised services to its residents. Food service plays an intrinsic part of Holly Lea experience. Our hospitality services are growing and we are looking for the right person for our tight-knit team as Hospitality Assistant to assist our hospitality team with meal service, and provide support to residents as required. This is a full time role. Key Responsibilities: Keeping the communal areas clean and tidy, and always well presented; Cleaning selected apartments and suites as per schedule to a high standard; Laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning duties; Re-stocking supplies, including linen and cleaning supplies. A successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as a housekeeper or similar cleaning role; Excellent attention to detail; A positive and helpful attitude; Legal rights to work in New Zealand. Someone who is: Reliable, friendly and has a professional manner; A good communicator and is willing to take direction from others; Physically fit and able to lift/carry medium to heavy objects; Strong team player, but confident working on their own; Caring and compassionate and enjoys making a difference.
