Location: Auckland, NZ

Nature of the role: Contract of 6 months
Experience:

Senior Azure Integration Consultant: 5-10 years enterprise integration experience
Azure Integration Consultant: 2-5 years enterprise integration experience

Responsibilities:

Azure Integration Services:

Design, develop, and execute integration solutions using Azure services such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Azure API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage Account, and Azure API Management (APIM).
Understand message-based and event-driven architectures, including messaging protocols (e.g., HTTP, AMQP) and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).

Azure Platform Knowledge:

Knowledge of Azure platform services, features, and capabilities related to integration.
Familiarity with Azure security services and features, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Security Centre.

REST API:

Design and build RESTful APIs using best practices and industry standards.
Develop and deliver REST API solutions within Azure integration projects.
Familiarity with API gateways and API documentation tools.

GraphQL:

Proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design and optimization.
Develop and execute GraphQL integrations with Azure services.

Microservices Architecture:

Design and deliver microservices-based architectures.
Proficiency in containerization technologies, such as Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

DevSecOps:

Implement DevSecOps principles in Azure integration projects.
Integrate security controls and conduct code analysis.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD:

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure integration projects using Azure DevOps.

PowerShell Scripting and Automation:

Develop PowerShell scripts for Azure automation and management tasks.

Node.js in JavaScript and TypeScript:

Develop server-side applications using Node.js.

Azure API Management (APIM):

Configure and manage Azure API Management to publish and manage APIs.

Automated Testing:

Test integration solutions, including unit and integration testing.
Implement automated testing within the DevOps pipeline.

Simulator or Stub Development:

Develop simulators or stubs for testing purposes.

High Availability, Resilience, and Disaster Recovery:

Design and implement strategies for high availability and disaster recovery.

Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting:

Set up logging and monitoring mechanisms for Azure integration solutions.

Document Production Ability:

Create and deliver comprehensive documentation to support work.

Problem-solving and Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot complex integration and security issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Shift work
Ability to commute/relocate:

Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
