Our kaupapa is to empower our akonga with confidence, discipline, knowledge and the skills to succeed. This position is responsible for teaching young learners, giving them an innovative, motivational, supportive and quality learning experience. Classes are delivered on campus in the classroom and physical training, linked to the learning takes place outside. Key to this role is to equip them with a range of learning and activities which will lead them to a career with the defence force. Must haves Tertiary qualified at level 4 or above Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching experience Passionate about developing and mentoring youth Confidence to develop engaging classroom activities Willingness to take the first step into a career as an academic Ability to learn on the job and be resourceful New Zealand Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it Extensive retail experience Passionate about fitness, physically fit, and capable of executing drills If you feel you have the relevant skills, experience and attitude to make the most of this exciting opportunity, apply now with a CV and cover letter.
