This platform empowers users, developers, and brands to create interconnected experiences.The Readyverse will uphold the principles of the open metaverse, including provable digital ownership, community-owned infrastructure, decentralization, security, and interoperability. It will be built utilizing Futureverse's extensive technology platform.Reporting to the Technical Director, the DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining secure and reliable game and software development pipelines. Collaborating with the Technical Director and Senior Software Engineers to ensure that our software delivery process is secure and efficient while also adhering to industry-standard security practices. The DevSecOps Engineer will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, streamlining software development, deployment, and operations.This role will: Maintain secure and reliable game delivery pipelines. Collaborate and assist with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure. Setup and maintain AWS environments. Setup and maintain Github Actions. Implement and maintain industry-standard security policies and procedures for software development and infrastructure management. Develop and maintain security-focused automation scripts and tools. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing on software and infrastructure. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry-standard security practices, and ensure that our security practices align with them. Key Outcomes: Improved security Faster time-to-market High-quality software Increased collaboration Continuous improvement Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevSecOps or a related role. Extensive knowledge of Github Actions and AWS. Experience with game delivery, web app delivery, and backend delivery. Knowledge of software development lifecycle, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. Understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management techniques. Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of networking and security principles and tools. Experience in a web3 development team, interacting with web3 applications is advantageous. Relevant certifications such as AWS/MS/GCP certifications are a plus.
