Then this could be the role for you Pathlab Bay of Plenty is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Laboratory Assistant to support the delivery of services within our exciting  Histology department.
About the Role As the Laboratory Assistant, you will be helping our busy laboratory with filing, administration, and setting up of work areas for our scientists and technicians.
The operating hours of the laboratory are 6 am- 9 pm, Monday to Friday, and working shifts are rostered within these time frames. This position is part-time and we are happy to work with you to find the best hours to suit.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you will not necessarily come from a Laboratory background. You will have:
Excellent eye for detail (essential)Effective communication skills.The ability to work both independently and in a team setting.A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills to undertake the role successfully. A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and proceduresGenuine interest in science.What's in it for you?
