Port Nelson is an international port located in the city of Nelson. It serves as the key maritime gateway for Te Tauihu and is a vital hub for economic activity in the region. Port Nelson is a key enabler of the region's continued growth and prosperity.Port Nelson handles a wide variety of cargo, including containerised and bulk cargo. Major commodities include forestry products, seafood, pip fruit, and wine. The Port has continued to invest in its infrastructure and now provides a variety of services across marine, logistics, warehousing and property.Role Overview The Chief Executive of Port Nelson will provide visible and dynamic leadership for the organisation, working alongside key stakeholders to deliver on the vision, strategic objectives, and commercial performance of the Port.
