 Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials, dimensions & installation procedures
 Select and order correct type and amount of timber and material
 Prepare the layout of the project
 Cut wood, materials, assemble and install parts
 Erect wooden frames and trusses
 Install skirting boards, wall boards, floorboards, stairs, and fence
 Nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and install exterior wall cladding and door/ window frames
 Verify trueness of structure
 Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them when required
 Interior lining and finish
 Inspect the carpentry work and conduct repairs, maintenance, or renovations
 Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations
 Take other relevant duties as required

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

 At least 3 years work experience in relevant industry ORNZQF qualification is required in level 4 or above
 Able to work independently as well as a team
 Working under pressure
 Positive attitude and good work ethic
 Be physically fit
