We are searching for experienced Qualified Anaesthetic Technicians / ODPs / RNAA's to join our team at Waitaha to help deliver high-quality healthcare services to our valued tangata whaiora.
With permanent full-time, part-time, and casual roles available, we may just have what you are looking for.
At Health New Zealand, Waitaha, we work across multiple sites (Christchurch Campus - Public, Women's, Waipapa, and Burwood Hospital) which means no two days are the same.
From obstetrics to trauma to ECT to paediatrics, and everything in between; we are an acute and elective centre that offers it all.

Mo te tunga About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing professional, technical, and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists; Providing safe administration of anaesthesia to patients; Anticipating problems and exceptional patient care; Coordinating documentation to ensure the patient receives effective care; Mentoring trainee Anaesthetic Technicians / RNAA's.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and Experience A recognised qualification within New Zealand or international equivalent; Registration with the Medical Sciences Council or eligibility to obtain; Strong interpersonal skills; Motivated to embrace challenges and change; A sense of humour and self-awareness is also a must
