About The Company

As part of the suite of Crimson business divisions, newly founded Delta Institute offers a suite of extra/super-curricular related products with a clear focus on equipping students with the "delta factor" in their profiles. Delta Institute comprises of:

Delta Careers : Offering unique work experience opportunities for high school students in partnership with top global companies. Students upskill in two program-specific modules and a core module called "Careers Toolkit."

Case-Study : Project-based experience where students create actual impact through partner companies, culminating in a final "pitch-night" assembly.

Delta Launch : A comprehensive set of extracurricular experiences that enhance students' skills and value for college applications.

With Delta Launch, students can dive into two distinct, skill-building programs:
Delta AI & Code : Hands-on experience in AI and coding, preparing students for future academic challenges and career opportunities in STEM fields.
Delta Inspire : Students learn to start their own podcast or organize a TEDx event, focusing on practical communication, event planning, and media production skills.

Overall, Delta Institute products aim at empowering students to reach new heights, bringing all the "delta" in their (university) application profiles.

Position: Club Catalyst Mentor

Service: Delta Inspire @ Delta Launch

Reporting line: Operations Manager, Delta Launch

What is this role responsible for?

We are seeking passionate and experienced Club Mentors to support high school students in creating and managing various clubs. As a Club Mentor, you will guide and inspire students as they launch and lead clubs based on their interests.

These roles are part-time and hourly and can be done remotely.

This role will include:
Working closely with students based across the world.
Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions.

What we are looking for:
At least 4 hours of availability to tutor each week.
Passion for education and experience tutoring students.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Students How to Start a Club
Provide Personalized Mentorship
Leadership Skill Development
Guide Club Operations and Event Planning
Promote Project Management Techniques
Help with Marketing and Member Recruitment
Track Student Progress
Support Students in Preparing for Presentations

Nice to have:
Willingness to participate in designing curriculum and course materials.
Oxbridge/Ivy League graduate or Industry experts.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Leadership, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience with extracurricular programs or school administration.
Demonstrated success in launching and managing student clubs, initiatives, or youth programs.

Requirements:
Experience in Leadership or Club Management

Strong Communication and Mentorship Skills

Project Management Skills

Organisational Skills

Understanding of Educational Environments

Teaching or Coaching Experience

Creativity and Problem-Solving
