The role: Operating a forklift to manoeuvre pallets and crates around our Penrose Service Centre, including unloading returns from trucks, delivering items around site for servicing, stacking reconditioned items and loading these onto trucks for despatchInteracting with truck drivers delivering and collecting, providing a great, safe experiencePaperwork completion associated with product movementEnsuring safety systems and practices are adhered to so that a safe working environment is maintainedWorking within a team towards volume production targets, while ensuring quality standards are at a high level  Our offering: Starting rate of $28.68 plus shift allowance of $0.88 per hourAfternoon shift role, hours 2.00 pm to 10.30 pm, Monday to FridayFuture potential career development progression to team leadership roleGreat team environment focused on quality outputIn addition to annual leave, 3 extra days of paid Volunteer Leave (can be used for childrens school trips and camps)Discounted health coverageAbility to purchase company sharesOpportunity to be part of a global, sustainability focused organisation Our requirements:  Experience with forklift driving (long forks)Full drivers licence, ideally with F endorsement and current OSH certificationExperience with basic administration and customer interaction A strong commitment to safetyPhysical fitness to meet with the demands of the role A strong work ethic and understanding of working to production targets, adhering to both safety and quality requirementsApplicants must be willing to provide a Ministry of Justice criminal history check and attend/pass a pre employment medical (which includes a drug and alcohol screen).
