ANZCO Foods Waitara has an opportunity for an Electrician to join our busy manufacturing plant. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to our Engineering Supervisor.The purpose of this role is to keep production and site processes running by maintaining and installing all electrical and automation-related items, continually upgrading old equipment, and upskilling electrical staff on site.Duties and Responsibilities:PLC liaising with automation technicianAutomation control wiring following a cable scheduleHMI and SCADA maintenanceMaintaining the day-to-day operation of the processing facility as pertains to the plant electricalPreparing drawings, documentation, technical reports, and calculations associated with the control design for individual projects using software tools: Microsoft OfficeEnsuring that all technical requirements are understood and complied with, as per specifications and contract documentsMaintaining on-site low and extra low voltage electrical systemsFault finding and repair of electrical control systemsLiaising with Shift Supervisors on any day-to-day concernsPerforming ongoing monitoring of electrical and control systems e.g., Instrumentation, Scales, VSDs, etc.Skills and Experience:NZ Qualified level 4 registered electrician or equivalentCurrent practicing licenseStrong organisational skills with a focus on meeting objectivesAbility to work unsupervised and complete tasks as requestedExperience with preventative and reliability maintenance and an aptitude for fault diagnosisProject work scoping and implementationsWe deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand's finest beef and lamb.
