Nga korero mo te turanga – About the roleAs our Social Media Manager, you will lead a small but mighty team and provide both strategic and operational direction to drive innovation in social media campaigns to enhance reputation, engagement, and reach. Supporting the Marketing team, you will contribute to optimizing both marketing and communications activities through the use of organic and paid social media and Google ad campaigns, aligned to target audiences. You will provide expert advice on social media best practices while creating and implementing a shared understanding of our social media channels and Google search campaigns using your strong relationships with our key stakeholders.Salary will be in the range of $96,956 to $107,177 per year based on skills, knowledge, and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.Ko wai koe? – Who are you?Holding a Bachelor's qualification in marketing, communications, or a relevant field, you will have over (number) years of experience in the digital/social media field.In addition, you will also have: Experience managing and leading a high-performing team with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Experience developing a digital and/or social media strategy which integrates with the wider marketing and organizational strategy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with leading-edge developments in the digital and social media marketing and content environment.Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms including paid Google search campaigns which ensure optimal spend and return on investment (ROI).
