The Role
Our Leapfrog team are looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join them. In this role you will play a key role in helping build our world leading desktop geological modelling software, Leapfrog. Day-to-day you will have impact on what we build and how we build it. You will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with experts across multiple domains within Seequent.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Seequent you will have plenty of opportunities to share your knowledge with others, grow your technical skill set, and solve complex problems that have real world impact
Please note this is hybrid position based out of the Christchurch office.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Solve technically challenging problems and champion the cause of great software
Experience working with a team of friendly, passionate, like-minded developers
Flex your debugging muscles
Unleash your design flair
Use your maths skills on the daily
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members

This role could be a good fit for you if you have:

Broad experience in coding practices and designs
Experience with or an interest to work primarily in Python
Adaptability and a passion for learning
An interest in science or mathematics would be advantageous

PyCharm, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
