The Akau Tangi Sports Centre (12 court facility based in Kilbirnie, Wellington) is a vibrant facility which has seen significant growth over recent years. Our Programmes Team are responsible for delivering programmes and activities that enhance the health and wellbeing of Wellington's communities. In particular, our Youth in Sport programme includes the servicing of Wellington schools and our OSCAR approved School Holiday Programmes. We have a highly capable and experienced team of staff that we are looking to expand on. We are looking for casual part-time Recreation Assistants to join the team. You'll be assisting with our delivery of programmes, providing great customer service and ensuring our wonderful facility and equipment is well maintained and presented. You'll need to: Be passionate about the Sport and Recreation industry Be comfortable working with children Possess a customer-focused and positive attitude Have great communication and people skills Have the ability to work in a team and have fun Prior coaching experience is preferred but not essential. The team here at Akau Tangi Sports Centre share a strong customer focus and provide a great environment to work, with opportunities for development.
