Instructional Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly capable Instructional Designer professional to join our dynamic Capability team.

In the Instructional Designer role, you will design, develop, review and maintain capability build offerings to meet organisation-wide development needs; and provide specialist expert advice and guidance in support of effective instructional design across council.

Your deep instructional design experience and skill, along with comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging good practice in instructional design, adult learning and L&D technologies, will see you excel in this role.

Working with ambiguity and self-direction is something you are comfortable with and an environment that you thrive in.

You will bring prior experience in determining essential behaviour changes and knowledge requirements and have depth of skill across a range of modes (including authoring of eLearning), and across multiple topic specialities. You'll also need skills to help you lead the design and development of new learning assets, including great interpersonal and communication skills, and great attention to detail.
