We are looking for enthusiastic experienced Senior Bakers to join our Pastry/Bread team."
Multiple positions available

The primary role is the day-to-day running of the bakery department, ensuring that a maximum enough high-quality freshly baked breads, cakes are available.

Minimum Previous   3 year of baking experience in a retail bakery ,OR Relavent Trade Qualification.

This is a permanent position with a Minimum of 30 hours and a Maximum 45 hours per week (extra hours may be required based on production) 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing frozen products for baking.
  • Mixing and baking required daily levels of all bakery products.
  • ·         Baking required daily levels of Cakes and other products.
  • ·         Preparing and making Sandwiches.
  • ·         Assembling sandwiches using breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables and other products according to customer orders.
  • ·         Responsible for the operation of the pastry/ Bakery section of the kitchen - including
    desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
  • ·         Producing other bakery-specific products as required 
  • ·         Other tasks across the store as required.
  • ·         Ensure that recipes and proportions are strictly adhered to, to ensure consistency, quality, and cost control.
  • ·         Order and maintain inventory for the pastry/ Bakery section to ensure efficient operations. 
  • ·         Any other duties the Executive Baker/ Head Chef or Baker may reasonably require.
  • ·         Station maintenance and cleanliness
  • ·         Follow health and hygiene standards.
