Neutron will be our next rocket on the launch pad, an advanced 13-tonne payload class, reusable rocket to launch the mega constellations of the future.Join our pioneering team and launch your career to new heightsWHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:As the Senior Avionics Development Engineer, you'll be a key figure in our engineering team, leading the design and testing of Avionics components for the Electron launch vehicle. Your role involves expert-level electronic circuit and PCB design, ensuring mission-critical and safety-critical systems meet aviation standards. From pioneering test systems to production-ready avionics, you'll drive development from concept to implementation, including software and custom electronics.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering5+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineeringTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:Experience designing hardware from concept through to implementationUnderstanding of electronic circuits, design principles, and SMT manufacturingUnderstanding and experience in environmental design testing, such as vibration, shock, thermal, and TVACUnderstanding of interfaces and sensors including power supplies, oscilloscopes, serial devices, and instrumentationExcellent communication both written and verbal, including creating material for distribution to external partiesAltium user to intermediate or higher statusNX, SolidWorks or other 3D CADDemonstrated experience working in fast-paced environmentsProgramming experience in Python, C/C++If the above sounds like you, apply nowWHAT TO EXPECT:We're on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that's not an easy task.
