The Role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's digital presence and designing, developing, and maintaining web applications throughout our web ecosystem. Your expertise will span both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. Collaboration is at the core of this role as you work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of Seequent's digital transformation, fostering a future-first mindset, and collaborating with a cross functional team to enhance buy-flow processes, support journeys, information architecture, and web navigation. This is a hybrid role to be based out of our Christchurch office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Collaborate with teams to lead and create overall web architecture.
Maintain security standards across our websites
Maintain performance standards across our websites
Implement new features and websites to support business growth

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

Shown leadership in coding standards, collaboration, and co-ordination of third-party partners
A strong understanding of development processes for digital environments including Agile, information architecture, UX/UI, project management, testing frameworks
Experience building accessible websites and familiar with accessibility standards to create inclusive user experiences
Knowledge of design principles and responsive design to create beautiful experiences across devices
Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
