The Opportunity We are looking for an emerging leader who will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day account management of Aon's relationships with assigned clients within the construction industry.
As an Executive Director, you will service and develop the growth of existing construction business and investigate and target proposals for new construction business opportunities including referrals from Aon branch network.
Responsibilities Renewal book co-ordination and ownership Seek and assist with new business team targets – external or internal source of new business Perform client contract reviews (insurance clauses) Client and prospect insurance presentations Prepare and process accurate and concise premium calculations Provide professional documentation to both clients and insurers Maintain up-to-date client files Co-ordinate client renewals Client and underwriter credit control From time to time you may be required to perform other duties within the normal business activities of the company To be successful in this role you should display: Proven experience in a similar role 5 years' experience within the insurance industry Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build strategic relationships Excellent negotiation skills A collaborative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and assist others Good organisation, planning, and a can-do attitude Aon Culture & Benefits At Aon, we provide colleagues with the support to make a positive impact together with ongoing opportunities for development, including the support of a team which will continually inspire you to achieve your best.
In order to perform this role, you will need to have either the requisite professional qualifications to be a financial adviser under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 or meet the conditions for an exemption from the qualification requirements until March 2023.
