We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Chief Executive, driving the future growth and success of Mountain Jade.

Mountain Jade is a leading pounamu/jade retailer with four retail outlets, a strong online presence, and a staff of over 40 talented individuals. We source carvings and jewellery from New Zealand's most skilled artists, and our business has been recognized for excellence in Rotorua.

The successful appointee will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to the wider Mountain Jade business, guiding a high-performing team of Senior Managers.

1. Oversight of Senior Managers and Retail Managers
2. Regular board reporting and presentation of financial results
3. Leadership of the retail function and guidance to the Workshop Manager
4. Product ranging and pricing strategies
5. Fostering external partnerships and supplier relationships
6. New business development opportunities
7. Ensuring decisions align with Mountain Jade's values

1. Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or related field (desirable)
2. Experience in Pounamu/Jade Industry, Tourism, Attractions, Retail Leadership, or similar fields
3. Strong leadership skills, time management, and organisation abilities
4. Commitment to Māori connection with pounamu
