Fiordland College is looking for an Assistant Principal who lives and breathes collaborative leadership and has a focus on creating inclusive relationships that inspire, strengthen, and empower our entire community. You will be a future-focused, visible leader, as well as a confident and capable communicator who can promote and develop the vision and values of the College.

All members of our community are expected to be leaders. Leadership allows extraordinary things to happen in our school. Leaders identify the obstacles, values, and vision, and turn them into innovations, actions, and rewards for our entire community. Our senior leaders do not lead in isolation, acknowledging the team of ākonga, kaiako, and whānau who help move us towards our goal of being a place for all to thrive.

Fiordland College is located in Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park. The school is the only secondary school in the Te Anau Basin with 290 Y7-13 students. We have a community that contributes to and supports our curriculum, fantastic learning relationships between our students and teachers, and being located in Te Anau, we have one of the most inspiring locations in the world to use as our classroom.
