Nanny And Housekeeper

We are looking for a new nanny and housekeeper to work with us full time Monday to Friday, from 25 August. We are a family of four, two working parents and two girls, aged four and six. We are looking for someone responsible and down to earth to be part of our family. We would like you to occupy the girls without devices, provide a calm loving routine and help us keep our household in order. You would be the stay at home parent neither of us are able to be right now. Our girls need dropping off in the morning and picking up in the afternoon from school and daycare. Duties include making and serving dinner (HelloFresh) and preparing school lunch. We would like you to keep our house in order with daily activities like the dishes, tidying and laundry, as well as a weekly clean. We are looking for someone who identifies what the children need, communicates well, and independently attends to jobs around the house to help make our lives more manageable. The fixed hours are Monday to Friday 7.30-9.00am and 3.00-6.00pm. The remaining duties can be fulfilled flexibly through the week. We seek full time support so that you are available for full days of care when the girls are off sick (and not in need of a parent), on teacher only days, as well as the school holidays (don't worry, we try to take half of them with the kids ourselves). You will need a reliable car, full licence and current first aid certificate (or be prepared to obtain one). We have easy to install car seats available. The hourly rate is $25-30 an hour depending on experience, with an additional $50 a week for petrol. We are keen for someone who wants a stable long term position and who is comfortable with responsibilities beyond childcare. We can provide our own references. Hoping to hear from you soon
