Key Responsibilities: On-site Leadership: Lead and coordinate a small team of skilled carpenters on various construction projects. Conduct daily toolbox talks and organize tasks efficiently. Project Execution: Work primarily on the tools, ensuring high-quality carpentry work. Oversee and manage trades, ensuring project timelines are met. Material Organization: Efficiently organize and manage materials on-site. Coordinate deliveries and maintain an organized inventory. Communication Hub: Act as a central point of communication between the construction site, the office, clients, and staff. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns promptly. Site Organization: Take charge of on-site organization, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the day. Organize and allocate tasks to the team as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on high-quality workmanship. Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a small team. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders. New Zealand residency, a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle.
