Facilities Maintenance & Cleaning Ops Manager As a Facilities Maintenance & Cleaning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for proactively maintaining and preserving the value of TILFM's property and facilities through close cooperation with stakeholders and suppliers, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
You will be a true business partner, securing good relationships and communication with clients and suppliers; giving advice, proposals, and project management services aligning business needs and demands with colleagues and stakeholders.
You will also provide expertise and input to secure performance, business continuity, safety, quality, sustainability, cost control, efficiency, workplace experience, and contract value over time.
Experience in building maintenance and cleaning services is essential.
Purpose of the role: The purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate the facilities maintenance & cleaning services along with assisting cleaning crew, subcontractors, and in-house trade people.
You will report back to the National Manager/Directors to ensure the project is running on time and within budget.
You will ensure business as usual is maintained for all active sites, and it will be your customer focus and ability to develop relationships with your customers and suppliers that will set you apart.
Excellent customer service and response to issues will build trust and satisfaction amongst your stakeholders, especially when they are faced with potential interruptions to their businesses.
In this broad role, you will constantly be looking to improve the way solutions are delivered and be prepared to think about innovative ways to solve problems.
You will be open to change and seek other expert opinions to create good outcomes for your customers.
Key Responsibilities: Carrying out regular site inspections and discussing any issues with the cleaning crew.
Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times.
Managing the performance and contracts of facilities-related contractors and procuring new contracts as required.
Ensuring all contract transactions are carried out with the appropriate level of due diligence.
Managing all day-to-day repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties from small jobs to large projects.
Ensuring maintenance of our properties through their life-cycle working in a structured way with property condition assessments and long-term maintenance plans.
Reviewing and evaluating contract service variations with the project team.
Monitoring and managing the cleaning crew and subcontractor performance.
Coordinating the work plans for each active site.
On-site cost control.
To be successful you will have: The ability to train, mentor, and supervise.
Well-focused and well-structured in deliverables.
Experience in supervising sites.
Ability to work with budgets and forecasts.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
A positive attitude and being open to change.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience in building maintenance and cleaning services.
Remuneration: Is based on experience, knowledge, and skills.
