Are you passionate about shaping the future of education through innovative teaching strategies and supporting teachers to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dynamic pedagogical coach to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing instructional practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in our school.
As a pedagogical coach, you will collaborate with teachers and leadership teams to develop and implement effective, research-based teaching strategies that boost student engagement and achievement. Your role will include providing personalised feedback, facilitating professional learning sessions, and supporting teachers & support staff in their professional growth through mentoring, observation, and reflection.
Key responsibilities:
Instructional coaching: Partner with teachers to co-plan, co-teach, observe, and reflect on instructional methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
Professional development: Design and lead workshops and training on curriculum development, classroom management, technology integration, and differentiated instruction.
Collaborative planning: Work closely with staff to align curriculum and instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Mentorship & support: Offer ongoing guidance to teachers to refine their techniques and foster a growth mindset.
Observation & feedback: Conduct classroom observations, providing actionable feedback using evidence-based protocols.
Positive learning environment: Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, encouraging student-centred learning environments.
A willingness to travel within New Zealand as well as internationally as part of the role is desirable.
