As our name suggests, everything we do is anchored in a deep commitment to our customers.We embrace a "work hard, play hard" mindset, fostering a vibrant team culture where we celebrate successes, learn from challenges, and have fun along the way.Join us and become part of a team that's passionate about making a real difference About the role As an intermediate-level Quality Engineer working in the Salesforce ecosystem, you'll collaborate with a talented team to create and deliver exceptional software solutions for our customers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our Salesforce solutions through testing and automation development using Playwright. Your expertise will contribute to new and improved experiences for our customers, both internal and external.We're looking for people with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, a pragmatic approach and keen eye for the big picture. You'll be comfortable working stakeholders, contributing towards the clarification of requirements for test cases. Overall, you'll help Xero build and manage software that solves engineering problems at scale. You will be enabled to seek clarity with technical complexities and be able to demonstrate smart ways to automate. You'll be able to make data-driven decisions that will release value early to solve Xero customers' problems more effectively.  What you'll bring with you: Exposure to Salesforce is a nice to have. We're ideally looking for people with Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud, but if you've used other parts of the platform or a similar tool, we would still love to hear from you. Previous experience in a quality engineering role, with hands-on experience in test design, automation, and execution; you'll be well versed in the ability to design, build, and run automated & manual tests. Proficiency working with tools that support test automation, such as: Playwright, Git, Github, TeamCity. Proficiency with Typescript is ideal but not required. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools, with a keen eye for modern testing practices and a "shift-left" mindset.
