We have an opportunity for people who are passionate about baking, already in the retail industry, and love to work in a busy, customer focused environment. Flexibility to work changing hours is important:
We are seeking an exceptional Bread Baker, with the passion to produce the finest quality bakery products, especially a deep passion for everything bread.
This role has the potential to grow with the department for the right person. We are always looking at how we can develop people further in their careers who have aspirations to do so.
Your day-to-day: Following recipes to produce high-quality, delicious products
Producing our in-store made doughs on the dough bench
Being able to work on the sweet section occasionally to produce cakes, slices, and biscuits (this may include donut making with full training provided)
Working quickly and efficiently while managing your own workload
Being part of a team to achieve daily tasks and communicating with others to achieve goals within the department
Having excellent food safety and health and safety processes
Using initiative to prioritise tasks and plan your day
Sharing new ideas for products or processes
What we need from you: Experience working in a Bakery or Bakery environment
A passion for baking and producing high-quality products
A good understanding of the baking industry
Commitment to the work, meeting store and company objectives
Adhering to our in-store food safety program (training provided)
Flexibility to occasionally work extra shifts or over your core hours
Sharing creativity and new ideas for products or processes
Good physical fitness for lifting and operating equipment
Great presentation skills and attention to detail
Availability over the Easter, Christmas, and the New Year periods are a must
Hours and days to be discussed in the interview. This can either be a full-time or part-time role in the team.
