Are you an experienced carpenter with a passion for leading and supervising construction projects? Look no further We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Carpenter/Builder in our dynamic team.
As a Carpenter and Builder, your main purpose is to provide trade skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to undertake carpentry work, ensuring compliance with contract specifications in a safe and timely manner. In addition, you will fill the supervisory role of Foreman as delegated.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee a team of carpenters, ensuring efficient and timely project completion within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Read and interpret specifications and construction plans to guide the team effectively.
Collaborate with subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate workflow.
Prioritize safety measures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times.
Maintain personal, company, and client equipment and property with respect.
Actively participate in project teams to meet quality and time requirements.
Contribute to improvements that enhance product quality and optimize resources.
Utilize trade skills, knowledge, and experience to complete works efficiently, minimizing rework requirements.

Tools & Equipment:

Supply and maintain a basic tool kit, demonstrating competency and skill in their use.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Wear personal protective equipment at all times.

Health & Safety:

Be responsible for your safety and aware of safety requirements for others.
Comply with all Company safety requirements and procedures.
Advise of any safety concerns.

Key Competencies and Skills Required:

Demonstrate the ability to take on the supervisory role of Foreman, as delegated or in the absence of the Director.
Possess recognized Trade Qualifications in Carpentry or significant Carpentry experience (10+ years).
Demonstrate competency in carpentry work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret construction plans and project specifications.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
