Speech Language Therapist at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Southern, Otago Dunedin0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)Mo te turanga - About the roleWe have a permanent, part-time opportunity for a NZ registered Speech Language Therapist. The position is suitable for a New Graduate or an Experienced Therapist who has an interest in working with the paediatric population.This position would suit a Speech Language Therapist who is keen to work as part of a team and can provide a whanau and child-focused approach. Your work would consist of developmental assessments, designing and implementing both group and individual therapy sessions, and devising therapy plans for children with communication challenges. Your caseload would be varied with children who have a range of presentations that result in communication and feeding challenges.You must hold an annual practising certificate and a NZ full driver's licence.Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.Utu whanui - Salary rangeThis role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842 p.a) and Step 7 ($104,466 p.a, pro rata) of the Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.Due to the fast-paced nature of what we do, our vacancy close dates may be subject to change.
