The Abbott team pride themselves on their relationships, their technical knowledge, and their commitment to advocating for clients when they need them most – at the time of a claim.Reporting to the CFO, you will pick up responsibility for the transactional processing functions, through to the delivery of the monthly accounting and reporting routines, for both the insurance broking and premium funding activities. Working with a small finance team, much of the early focus will also be on working to further develop a newly implemented business system. This new system provides more capability for the business operations, while for the finance team will enable them to streamline and automate processes and to further develop the performance analysis and reporting. As such, this role will have core accounting responsibilities, but also with some projects to keep it interesting and fresh, and the scope for you to further develop your leadership skills, especially around influencing change from the finance perspective.We view this position as an ideal opportunity for candidates who are CA qualified and have established themselves in senior audit and/or advisory services roles to make that next step move into a commercial sector enterprise.
