There is a large population of elderly retired people who reside both privately and within the five main rest homes in the area. There is also a large Maori population, comprised mainly of Ngati Raukawa and Muaupoko.Levin is mainly a service community to the surrounding farming areas and is centrally situated between Wellington and Palmerston North.Primary Function of the Role:To provide competent patient-centred care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.
