Senior Broker

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Broker to take the next steps in their career in this exciting senior opportunity based in Lower Hutt.By working together, you will be responsible for serving a group of clients by offering them timely and reliable commercial advice. You will take over an existing and profitable client portfolio and play a key role in expanding Gallagher's presence, reputation, and position in the industry and market.Key Accountabilities:Continuously cultivate and manage strong relationships with clients to fulfill Gallagher's commitment to delivering an exceptional experience, earning their trust and loyalty.Take responsibility for gaining a deep understanding of clients' businesses and providing day-to-day service for new and existing client business.Lead and execute comprehensive ongoing client service, adhering to service standards and regulatory requirements.Identify and address clients' business and risk management needs, seeking solutions through ongoing service provision.Actively seek opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and specialists across the business to maximize account penetration and cross-selling potential.Drive growth within the existing client portfolio and convert new business opportunities.Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations that effectively showcase Gallagher's value proposition.Skills and Experience:Previous commercial insurance broking experience (minimum of 3 years)Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skillsProven ability to develop and manage complex commercial client accountsExperience in developing new business opportunitiesA strong sense of teamwork and a committed work ethicDemonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulationsHolds a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)About us:At Gallagher, we’ve been helping to protect what’s important to people and businesses for more than 95 years.
