Our Civil Engineering team provides expert design services from concept and planning through detailed design to construction and maintenance and ongoing management and advice for the project's operating life. Our team specialises in a diverse range of projects including public infrastructure, renewable energy, and private funded developments.
The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Designer to join our Civil Infrastructure team based in our Wellington or Auckland office. This role will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist with translating conceptual designs into detailed designs and drawingsUsing 3D modelling software in the design of roadways, earthworks, three water networks, erosion and sediment control measures and general site grading. Expertise in 12D modelling software would also be of benefit.Preparation and documentation of technical drawings (CAD)Preparation of specificationsSite inspectionsAssisting in technical development of modelling standards and protocols, with the opportunity to participate in ongoing testing and integration of new digital design tools.Engaging with contractors and suppliers.
