Coaching & Instruction (Sport & Recreation) Add expected salary to your profile for insights Set amongst 90 acres of rolling Rangitikei farmland, Nga Tawa Diocesan School is home to New Zealand's largest on-site school equestrian centre. Currently 90 students and their horses are part of our Equestrian Academy which caters to riders of all levels and abilities. We are recruiting for a specialist dressage coach to join our equestrian team. Ideally applicants will hold a coaching qualification but those with relevant equestrian experience are encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone who can coach confidently to level 4. The ability to build rapport with and relate to teenagers is a must. As this role requires driving our 9-bay school horse truck to and from shows, a Class 4 license would be advantageous. Hours of work are Monday to Friday during term time from 6.30am – 9am, 3pm – 6pm. Given our coaches transport girls to shows and support them at competitions, weekend hours should be expected too. We can offer up to 40 hours a week. Onsite accommodation and horse grazing is available to the successful applicant. If you would relish the opportunity to be involved in Nga Tawa's equestrian success, then please apply by sending a covering letter, a copy of your C.V and a completed application form to our Head of Equestrian, Andrew Scott, at (email protected) . An application form is available on our website, start preferred. Applications close on Friday 19 July 2024.
