Our Client in New Plymouth, Taranaki is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Cafe Manager to join their team.

The role is a permanent full-time position with some occasional overtime to meet seasonal demand, including weekend work and occasional evenings.

Minimum 30 hours guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities: Working with an existing Food Control Plan Rostering of staff Ensuring that all compliance requirements of the cafe are adhered to Striving to achieve revenue budget and cost of sale percentage Cafe stock control – stock take, ordering, etc. Cash/EFTPOS handling of transactions Organizational, time management, and problem-solving ability Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure Good oral and written communication skills Job Requirements: Friendly manner and exceptional customer service skills Any qualification in Business Management Barista qualification or experience is preferred Front of house & cafe management experience Making coffee is an essential part of this role
