Position : Electrician Location : Ashburton, Canterbury District Employment Type : Full-time Salary : $50-$60/hr The Opportunity Passionate about working within the renewable energy industry? We have multiple opportunities for Trade Qualified Electricians working on the construction of a new and up and coming solar farm project based in Ashburton Canterbury District. This role is required for around a 3 month period commencing in late July through to November. You will be working for a leading renewable energy company dedicated to promoting sustainable energy solutions. Duties and tasks: Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics and designs. Install cables, inverters, combiner boxes, and associated electrical components in accordance with electrical codes and specifications. Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of solar power systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and issues.
