We currently have a unique opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to help develop and deliver a variety of approaches with an emphasis on providing clients and whanau with support around what matters to them.
Your mahi will include but is not limited to:
Assisting Community Allied Health Service clinicians on client home visits
Equipment delivery and installation
Carrying out rehabilitation programmes
Supporting clients to achieve their desired goals, including essential daily tasks such as personal cares and meal preparation
This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $72,074 to $86,719 (full-time equivalent).

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

Strong desire to help clients and whanau achieve their goals
An understanding or willingness to learn about te reo Maori and tikanga Maori
Good communicator, who easily builds rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
Strong organisational and time management skills
Basic computer and IT skills
Basic clinical documentation skills
Previous Allied Health Assistant or Health Care Assistant work or other relevant work experience is essential
A full driver's licence (manual and automatic) is essential
