As the Director/Lead Engineer for the Queenstown and South Island operations, you will have the chance to significantly influence the strategic direction and growth of the business, while leveraging your technical expertise or business acumen. Whether you are a technically skilled engineer with a passion for high-end projects or a business-savvy individual ready to take on an entrepreneurial role, this opportunity offers the potential for substantial ownership in the business—up to 49%.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive the growth of the South Island operations, including business development and client relationship management.
  • Take a hands-on role in local project inspections, providing engineering expertise and leadership in project execution.
  • Build and expand the company’s local network to generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the established North Island team to maintain high standards of engineering excellence and ensure alignment with broader company goals.
  • Be a pivotal player in shaping the company’s strategy, operations, and long-term success in the South Island.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with a strong passion for high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help grow and lead a business.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is excited to make a tangible impact.
  • Strong local knowledge and connections within Queenstown or the wider Otago region would be a distinct advantage.
