Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development).
Full-time and Part-time positions are available.
Immediate start – Level 3 of Level 4 Health & Wellbeing Qualification.
We are looking for committed and dedicated people who want to work in this demanding field. We are an Iwi Maori entity. Our Home and Community Support Service provides a 365-day home-based support service assisted by an administrative team, a clinical team, and health services operating from Ngati Ranginui Iwi.

We are looking for people who have:
Passion for enabling the client to lead a good life.
You have at least a minimum of 3 months of professional health experience doing complex care.
Have 3 years' experience or Level 4 Healthcare qualification or equivalent.
Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and punctual.
Culturally aware.
Able to work on their own initiative.
Good Communication Skills-Excellent command of the English language
Full NZ driver's license
You can travel between Paengaroa in the south and Waihi Beach in the north.
Culturally aware and willing to work rostered shifts, including one-weekend shift.
In return:
Flexible hours - Level 3 $26.16 per hour and Level 4 $28.25 per hour, plus travel time and travel kilometres paid.

Requirements are below:
A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible work visa.
A full New Zealand driver's licence and a reliable vehicle that you are prepared to drive to and between clients (We cannot accept international driver's licences)
Can accommodate flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, and weekends.
Clear English language skills - able to read English instructions and plans and speak clearly in English to clients and colleagues.
Strong customer service skills - good at interacting with a wide range of people and enjoys helping people.
High-quality standards and adhering to professional standards, policies, and practices.
Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery.
Confident to visit a range of clients in their homes and provide them with a range of care and support.
You will need to be able to/tasks involved :
Identify and assess the extent of difficulties for the client and understand their needs and problems.
Monitor and report promptly on the progress of each client.
Support with their physical, emotional, or health-related needs.
Assist with personal care, washing, bathing, showering, shaving, grooming and hygiene.
Assist with toileting and bowel and bladder management.
Assist with the use of equipment in daily living and rehabilitation.
Prompting and assisting the service users to take prescribed medication.
Encouragement to maintain independence.
Helping with rehabilitation programs as prescribed by healthcare professionals, if required
Shopping from local stores, preparing shopping lists, and providing assistance with budgeting. If applicable
Handling of money for shopping within policy and care plan guidelines if applicable.
Assist with feeding and meal preparation as required by the service user.
Maintain accurate health records and reporting to coordinators, as necessary.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the service user and their whanau.
