Job Overview:
Project Manager you are considered a leader of the project(s). As a leader we need you to enforce and monitor our company rules as set out above and provide our team members with as much assistance and support as possible. Planning and coordination is key to our projects while we focus on being proactive and take pride in our problem solving abilities.
You are to be in communication with all stakeholders as you will be the main point of contact between sites and office. It is important to know and understand what work is within your scope/contracts and will be expected to stay on top of all moving parts of the project. We aim to build good relationships with our clients, suppliers, contractors and consultants.
Key Objective
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and  leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing severalmoving project parts simultaneously. The Construction Project Manager must ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and within the agreed scope.
Responsibilities and Duties:

 Health & Safety: Ensure H&S procedure are implemented and followed on site as per Hobson Construction H&S Policy. Enforce and Maintain H&S rules on site to the highest standard as per company structure
 Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
 Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
 Project Execution: Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
 Quality Control: Implement project quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the agreed-upon standards and adhere to all regulations.
 Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
 Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan for and manage risks, including developing contingency plans.
 Contract Management: Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to obtain resources or materials as required. Ensure contract terms and conditions are met.
 Compliance and Safety: Ensure project compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.
Reporting: Provide reporting and documentation on project status to management and stakeholders, adjust project plans, and provide follow-up as needed.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
 Minimum of five years proven working experience in construction management or project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
 In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
 Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
 Good client management and goodwill building ability.
 Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
 Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
