We are seeking an exceptional and seasoned individual to join our award-winning White + Wong's restaurant located in our Newmarket Rooftop. We are looking for a motivated and experienced candidate with exceptional customer service skills for a full-time Duty Manager role. A successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and strong service knowledge. ***Must have full NZ working rights*** You have worked for a similar premium high-volume restaurant at supervisory level for at least 3 years You have a current Manager's Certificate or LCQ You have a passion for providing exceptional guest service You are an excellent problem solver You have exceptional leadership and communication skills You are passionate about serving simply the best food and wine You love to work within a great team environment and enjoy fast-paced service You get a buzz from working hard and getting great results You are confidently able to multitask and have strong guest relations skills You understand how a restaurant works and are familiar with online reservations systems You would like to build on a successful career in the hospitality industry You are willing to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays You are ready for some amazing opportunities working for a progressive hospitality company Working with us means you will receive: Highly competitive remuneration Amazing career development in a growing group, working with a great team Staff discounts at all our venues across Queenstown and Auckland Opportunities to transfer within the group across New Zealand The core of the role: Achieve top line sales Ensure good roster management Assist in recruitment Focus on staff development and training Ensure the establishment is clean and tidy at all times Deal with guest enquiries, including emailing and taking phone calls Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds Ensure Health and Safety is met at all levels Manage and conform with regulatory licensing requirements Good Group Hospitality is an established and expanding hospitality business with a restaurant portfolio including White + Wong's, Botswana Butchery, and Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill located in Auckland and Queenstown.
